HISTORY & LOCATION

Perched above Bermuda’s western coastline, Port Royal Golf Course is one of the island’s two public courses and a cornerstone of Bermudian golf. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1970, the championship layout is defined by its dramatic ocean views and demanding play. Today, Port Royal is home to the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, an official PGA TOUR event that brings the world’s top players to Bermuda each year.
